Welsh Three Peaks
Back in June this year a team from LocksOnline scaled the three largest peaks in Wales all in aid of Ty Hafan Children's Hospice based in Cardiff.
I wrote a blog about the aftermath of the event - click here.
Nearly a month has passed now and we all have recovered. It took me nearly a week to fully recover, even now I still get a tinge in my knee if I twist awkward.
We managed to raise a massive £3716.06p from friends, business colleagues and customers.
Donations came in from a few pounds to many hundreds of pounds and a massive thanks to all that help us along the way.
On reflection will we do it again? Most definitely yes, Friends and others we have chatted to about the whole experience are thinking of setting up their own teams for perhaps next year as well if that happens there may be more than just us. In fact we may end up with three teams,
We will see after Christmas as it takes months to get all of this sorted, training, organizing accommodation and dealing with the logistics of food, transport etc.
So for the last time this year
From all at Team 63 (LocksOnline / The Walters Group) a warm and heartfelt thanks to ALL who supported our cause in any little way that you did.
From Ty Hafan, I am sure their thanks comes just as much with the money we have donated and all from the other teams it will help to do what they do best and look after our young ones and help parents cope.
