COVID-19 (Corona Virus) Operational Updates
We are still open for business and processing orders.
At this time, we have received the following notices from suppliers / manufacturers which may affect some orders:
We have been advised by Hafele that they are operating on a minimal 'skeleton-staff' approach, but are still able to process orders as normal.
We have been advised by Timage that products within their range that are manufactured in Italy are now being placed on back-order as the Italian manufacturer has been affected by the strict lock-down.
We are advised that Exidor items built to order will not be shipped until the end of May.
Jedo / Frelan Hardware
We are happy to announce Frelan Hardware (Jedo) has resumed operation with a small team of staff. We are advised that there may be occasional delays in shipping products, but in most cases orders will be dispatched as normal.
It is our understanding that many manufacturers / suppliers are now operating with small 'skeleton-staff' setups which is working effectively but may cause some delays with processing orders and/or replenishing stock.
Royal MailWe have been made aware of staff restructuring and re-planning of postal routes to cope with the high demand for deliveries. This may cause delays to postal services in some locations. Overall delays have been minimal for most of our customers.
We have been informed that several overseas destinations are experiencing an unprecedented volume of deliveries which may cause delays once the delivery lands at the destination country. In most cases, hand-overs between UK postal services and the destination country's postal services are working effectively but in some cases (particularly Australia and Norway in our experience so far), the destination country's central hub(s) are overwhelmed and are experiencing longer delays.
